PRINCIPLE #3 STAGING
The third Principle of animation staging is the process of animating a sequence that presents an idea, emotion, or action in a character or asset that makes the audience unserstands whats going on, a shift in emotions, or an action that signifies something dangerous.
This Principle is helpful to make visual ques for the right situation. This is likely going to be used for character focused animations to represent their current situation, and emotions. In this example the stick figure gets a sense of shock and suprise represented by the large explination mark that pops in above their head.
Staging: The clear presentation of an action. Notice how the jump and the "!" are centered and timed to be the sole focus.
This example is very similar, it just shows us a different result up to our interpretation. In this example we can see the stick figure glowing and raising their arms. To us, the Audience we can see this as an emotion of joy, or perhaps it takes a more religous tone of a holy light shining on a person.
